yo.
Part A
we just had our practical lesson on tuesday and we're supposed to refer to sources retrieved from practical 4 to 5 and evalulate on only 1 resource using the different criteria that we've just learnt.
and they are:
Purpose
Coverage
Authority
Accuracy
Currency
Accessibility
Presentation and Arrangement
Usability
Overall Quality
so one of the resources that i used is

i will be evaluating on the Usability of the website.
although there are really distracting advertisements which states that i won a big prize ( i wish) , the website is really user friendly.
it's easy to navigate around the source as most links are displayed at the left panel.
one thing i like about the website is that it provides "Suggested Readings" links. they are articles which are related to my research.
i've also tried typing the keyword "blog" at the search function which displays 584,000 results.
it's really easy to use the search facility however, it does not displays the results i want.

this website also has a Customer Care service to assist the problems you face.
and all you need is to fill in the Problem form and click the "Send to Customer Care" button.

this user support service is really useful as some answers may not be displayed at the FAQ section.
yup. so that's about it for part A.. and now i'll move on to Part B of the Practical.
MY DREAM HOLIDAY.
for practical 6 part B, we're asked to blog about our dream holiday.
so..
my dream holiday destination would be...
GREECE!how did i fell in love with Greece?
it all started when i was watching the movie, "Sisterhood of the travelling pants".
few scenes were filmed at Greece and i was amazed by it's ancient architecture and breath-taking scenery.
Why Greece?
Greece has so much to offer regardless of your age and interests.
Guaranteed sun and sandy beaches, rocky coves and water sports, mountains to climb and ancient sites to explore, good food to eat and wine to drink, party nights and romantic evenings, are surely more than enough reason for choosing a Greek holiday.
The country has a very widespread appeal.
Greece is popular with its beautiful beaches, water sports with varying degrees of excitement for adults, interesting historical sites, shops and markets and with a varied nightlife.
therefore, it is no surprise that so many people holiday there.
One of the website i visted is ..
http://www.visitgreece.gr/and i feel that, one of the most important criteria would be Accuracy.
it is a factual site with cited references and is free from grammatical, spelling and typographical errors. It contains accurate facts and has no biasness.
okay.. it's getting wordy and boring.. so..
here are some pictures to share!
