yo.
Last week, we had our UIR quiz and thank god i passed. didn't really do well though.
We're also supposed to discuss on the Talkingcock.com website.
The class was split into two and one side will comment from the singaporean's point of view and the other side would be commenting on the foreigner's point of view. It's really interesting but we spent most of our time playing that Mas Selamat pac man game named "Pac 'Mat"
you should try too!
okay, this week,
We do not need to attend UIR because it's E-learning!
supe shiok............
but we're still required to update our blog about this week's E-learning activites involving Wiki.
we're asked to access our UIR wiki at
http://www.uir-rawkz.wetpaint.com/, create our accounts and start posting our resources. At first we felt really lost at the wiki page cause it's our first time using it. But after awhile we got the hang of it.
i even posted my topic at the wrong place and i have no idea how to delete it. =[
Again, i'm supposed to research on my topic - Discuss the impact of blogging on businesses, and these are some of the things i've learnt so far..
Weblogs can fall into 2 categories,
Personal blog: a mixture of personal diary, opinion posts and research links.
Business blog: a corporate tool for communicating with customers or employees to share knowledge and expertise.
A blog is an online journal of opinions, information, links and interesting content. It is informal and easily maintained to communicate with customers and employees.
Business blogs are an excellent method to share the company's expertise, build web traffic and connect with customers.
Customers may find enjoyment because a business blog offers a more approachable and informal information-providing approach.
Also, multiple people can post on the blog and information can be shared daily. Employees are also able to read company's news everyday and receive the same information at the same time.
yup. that's about it. sounds like business blogs can really make good money too.
see ya!
